POSTER DEADLINE: August 29, 2013

APA 2013 in Boston will again have a formal Poster Session on Tuesday, September 17^th in the evening which will coincide with the cocktail reception. Poster presenters will be expected to stand with their posters to answer questions and stimulate discussion. The organizing committee will receive and review all poster submissions.

The Applied Pharmaceutical Analysis (APA) workshop strongly encourages posters. The majority of posters submitted to APA by attendees registering at regular rates (eg. Pharmaceutical Industry employees, government agency employees, and academics) will have their abstracts accepted.

Poster Contest: The most Outstanding Poster Presenter in each functional area (ie., Regulated Bioanalysis, Biotransformation, & Discovery Bioanalysis) will receive:

Recognition for Outstanding PosterFree Registration to APA 2013Travel award of $500 for attending APA 2014 Posters will be judged by the organizers.

Poster Guidelines:

Abstracts should include the following sections with headers: Purpose, Methods, Results, Conclusions
Abstracts must be <350 words
Posters should fit within a 4' tall x 8' wide space

Submitters who have a commercial interest in the meeting, ie consultants, CROs, instrument companies, et cetera, by the definitions presented in Conflict of Interest section of The Boston Society Inc. bylaws must be vetted through a more rigorous screening process to insure that the poster contains only scientific content as opposed to any commercial content. Commercial content at Boston Society Inc. meetings is restricted to the sponsor/exhibitor area so that the conference is not overwhelmed by commercial content and so that competing commercial interests are not subsidizing one another.
